"The Whole World For The Iranian Bahai Youth" is a project founded by Vahid Matejko, in which musicians from 5 continents, belonging to the Bahai Faith, Islam, Christianity, Judaism, Shintoism, and other religions, take part, in order to offer their support to the Iranian Bahai Youth. The song is called "Young Heroes Behind Closed Doors" and is about the Bahai Youth in Iran who are excluded from school education and universities, because they refuse to deny their faith and convert to Islam.

The lyrics and music are written by Vahid Matejko, who also arranged and produced this song. Some recordings for this song were also made on other continents and sent in. The musicians, who took part are from Australia, Japan, Iran, Poland, USA, Kazakhstan, Mexico, Indonesia and Germany.

Overall, 15 musicians contributed to this production.

The subject here is about the admirable steadfastness of young Iranian people, who do not bend in the face of state oppression to deny them their fundamental rights and religious freedom, to speak up for the well being of all humanity with their progressive thoughts. This song is a request not to stand idly by, but to support these young people. Our current freedoms and rights which we enjoy today and gained not so very long ago, are due in no small measure to such courageous and steadfast people.

Young Heroes Behind Closed Doors ( lyrics)

Ya Baha’u’l-Abha, Ya Baha’u’l-Abha
Ya Baha’u’l-Abha, Ya Baha’u’l-Abha

Every kind of freedom has its own hereos
People who were fighting for our democracy today
Every kind of freedom has made victims in yesterday
People who were strong enough and believed in a better world
Right now we have such hereos
Right now they are fighting for mankind
They would need only a signature
And all their troubles would be left behind

Let these young people get their education
Let these young hereos be free
Let them believe what they want
Oh let them just be
Don´t leave them behind close doors
´cause they´re protecting our liberty
They sacrifice their future and dreams
They only want to help the world and their country

Ya Baha’u’l-Abha, Ya Baha’u’l-Abha
Ya Baha’u’l-Abha, Ya Baha’u’l-Abha

Abused in the name of islam
Which means translated: peace
Attempt to force the Iranian bahai youth to deny their faith
They can not reject their identity
It stands for the truth
`cause everything they are living for would be lost
The earth is but one country
Woman and man are equal
Religion and science should go hand in hand
All prejudices should be thrown away

Let these young people get their education
Let these young hereos be free
Let them believe what they want
Oh let them just be
Don´t leave them behind close doors
´cause they´re protecting our liberty
They sacrifice their future and dreams
They only want to help the world and their country

Knowledge is a wing to man`s life
A ladder for his ascent
What everyone should have
Nobody has the right to destroy the future of man
Their whole existence
The fundament of life

Let us now carry these hereos on
Let us now take them in our arms
Together we stand with them
We can´t close our eyes
Let us take an example in courage
Let us suport their example
Don´t let us wait till they loose education
It´s all now up to us

Ya Baha’u’l-Abha, Ya Baha’u’l-Abha
Ya Baha’u’l-Abha, Ya Baha’u’l-Abha
